Kikihi Necklace

Sterling Silver lines flow from the top to gently build cells in this delicate design. A more concentrated pattern emerges at the top before branching out into larger cells. Light and delicate but large in statement. Finished in a bright brushed surface. A lab grown Emerald sits encased in a delicate blossom setting, hinting at the translucent colours of the wings. Hanging on a nz made stg chain.  

 Some people say Kikihi, some say Kihikihi. The sound of Summer in Aotearoa. I always listen for the first and the last chirps of the summer. Amazing wee insects with such a big presence.
