      Pounamu Jade Blossom Silver Earrings | NZ made earrings | Redmānuka

       

      A classic shape is the first impression. The Pounamu Green gem is held gently by the Blossom slender petals.

      The Blossom setting first appeared in my work in 1990, It featured  hand shaped white Tākaka marble, set within an array of short petals.  This latest evolution features a large soft white rice pearl. The long slender petals arch gently to hold the Pearl. 

      Sterling Silver, these are dangly and light weight.

      The Pounamu Jade Blossom earrings continue my exploration of shapes in my garden. No plant in particular it is the promise of bud burst. Holding its space it is soft, quiet, delicate with emergence immanent.

      Made from Sterling, nz Pounamu Jade, Stg Hooks.

      Available with the silver or a brushed gold finish.
