Climbing rata necklace in sterling silver. Sterling silver vine wraps the neck — Metrosideros perforata, the New Zealand climbing rata, that on the living plant wraps its host tree and reaches for the canopy. Small white flowers and rounded leaves along the length. First designed in 1997 from the rata in the hills above Parapara. Strong and flexible. Standard length 46cm. Other lengths available. Handmade in Golden Bay, New Zealand.
